A: The San Pedro Marina has been in question for the past few weeks. Has it been sold? Who owns it? After confirmation to this reporter by Luke Espat that the marina was in the process of being sold to him and the subsequent denial of the sale by former Prime Minister Said Musa, Major Lloyd Jones confirmed on Tuesday that the prized asset remained unsold.

    After two tenders were submitted for the purchase of the marina, both were denied including Espat’s. Major Jones ended by stating that new tenders will be requested in the hopes of finding a new owner for the San Pedro Marina. According to Jones, they are waiting for directives from the new Minister and new Government of Belize.
