Over the long Easter weekend, San Pedro Town was entertained with two nights of wrestling at the San Pedro Sports Arena. The Spring Break Wrestlemania saw the participation of 12 wrestlers from Chetumal City in Mexico. These wrestlers included well known Lucha Libre wrestler El Gato Pando, El Gato Nucturna and El Angel Galactico.
On both nights, there were four fights; two single fights, one double men fight and another triple men fight. On Sunday, the second of two nights of action, the last fight was for the title of Central America and Caribbean Belt which went to Los Chicos Malos. According to King of King Productions’ spokesperson Roberto Canul, it is the second time that they have been bringing Mexican wrestlers and hope to make it an annual event for the Spring Break. He added that in the future, they plan to also bring in boxers as an entertainment. Canul ended by saying that he is happy with the turnout and hopes to introduce the wrestlers to other parts of the country in the near future.
