Bowen & Bowen Gives Cheque to Sea & Air Festival........ Severo Guerrero Agrees to be 1997 Co-Chairman

Preliminary figures indicate the festival suffered a loss in 1996. It appears the loss will be mostly offset by the seed money provided by the 1995 festival ($22,000) and the Bowen & Bowen cheque received last week.
Although attendance was slightly up, the expenses of the festival increased dramatically, with increases in the cost of almost everything from transporation to entertainment.
Town Councilor Severo Guerrero agreed two weeks ago to be a Co-Chairman of the 1997 Festival along with Gach Guerrero.
The 1997 festival will be held July 22 to 27, 1997. The two Co-Chairmen intend to hold meetings in the next few weeks . Volunteers are welcome.
